Yvonne Foong Ming Niang's first book was written in 2005 and published in 2006. The version on sale here is a reprint of the original by MPH Publishing. This book is the first person account of Yvonne's early life as a child growing up in Malaysia like most people do. Strange things started happening in her early teens that stretched for years before her condition was duly diagnosed. Yvonne subsequently won the Asian Youth Ambassadors 'Most Outstanding Youth of the Year' award in 2005 and the Her World Young Women Achiever award in 2008, for her fight with a rare and incurable genetic disorder called Neurofibromatosis.
